What a lovely day! We like to call this kind of weather San Francisco weather: somewhere in the sixties and some clouds, but oh so nice to be outside. Our terminology may be a little off, however, as both trips out to the Bay Area involved no fog and high sixties, low seventies in the summer, features we understand to be anomalies. Still, the weather reminds us of one of our favorite cities.
Katherine finally completed her second heart pillow, and this one she gets to keep! Here's a picture of it:
Not bad, not bad at all... |
Fitz finished The Girl Who Played with Fire last night, and thank goodness we have the third and final book! The book ends with a pretty big cliffhanger, so Fitz will most likely be starting The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest very soon.
So far, it's been a busy but good week. On Sunday, we had our first day of househunting in Charlotte, which was a good first start. We'll head back down on Saturday, and who knows! Maybe we'll find our new home then. And Katherine will then sew some curtains and Fitz will install alarms around the house, Lisbeth Salander-style.
