BOC, or Breakfast of Course

Song of the Day: London Calling

After a long 50-hour, 4-day week for Fitz, it seemed a good idea to kick of the weekend with a special Saturday breakfast. We walked downtown to Breakfast of Course where we both ordered their famous Apple Butter Baby. Katherine asked for coffee, and when it was served, in came in this mug:
How delightful! Afterwards, a stroll to the downtown library to return a DVD. Back home, Fitz is finishing up Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, and Katherine is starting The Keeper of Lost Causes. A great start to the day!

  1. Very cool. I am glad to hear that Fitz is actually reading for pleasure after all these years of reading for skool. Tinker, Tailor...was not one of my favorites. I know, I know, the critics all loved it in 1973 and still do to this day. Me, I'll take The Day of the Jackal. Now, if I can just get you to concentrate on making a CD out of those 1970's albums I gave you! Keep 'em coming. TB

  2. Ah yes, Operation Vinyl is underway...expect something in the next few weeks...

I haven't read The Day of the Jackal, but that should definitely be on our list to read!

I don't think anyone has to worry about us not geeking ; )

  3. One of the best things about Mary's (other than the food) is seeing what coffee cup you will get. I can imagine that the cup you got was appropriate!

    1. I know! I always look forward to seeing what coffee cup I'll get. And Dennis, had it not been for my conscience, that mug might have walked away with me...
